Chassis prep
New fuel pump Another look at the front end showing the new fuel pump, disk brakes and tie rod ends. Although there is no way to show it in photos, the chassis electrical system is now completely self contained. All wiring that is needed to make the car run is located on the Pan. All other wiring will run through the body.

New Wheels I removed the old wheels and adapter plates and installed these original style wheels that I picked up in an online auction.

Headlight mechanism I am making the assumption that the kit was originally assembled completely wrong. These photos show some of the problems I have to deal with. Holes are drilled all over the place. Some of them are used, some aren't. One of the biggest offenders is the hole that the headlight shaft goes through....
Headlight assembly error It appears that the hole was drilled in the wrong place so a chunk of plywood was screwed over the hole and then re-drilled. This leaves a lot of exposed wood to rot. My plan is to open these holes up as needed to get to clean wood, plug them with wood and epoxy adhesive, and glass them over for a clean start.
