repair underway Here I have started to repair the hole. After sanding the remaining edges to a taper I lay in fiberglass mat to replace the missing material. I then clamp it between pieces of mylar. This squeezes out the excess resin and ensures decent adhesion to the original surface.
fresh air vents I decided to change the fresh air source to below the car as instructed in later versions of the assembly manual. Here I have laid in glass mat as a backer for the patching I will do.
filling vents I have done the initial filling but will need to go back to clean it up a bit.
under dash Under the dash, the windshield wiper mechanism is cleaned up and mounted as well as the fresh air blower.
Bumper repairs The rear bumper had a couple of cracks and some of the mounting bolts pulled through the surface. This crack has been sanded out and is ready to be filled.
